Katigorah's Block Development Officer arrested for Corruption charges by Cachar Police.

A team of Cachar Police lead by OC Katigorah Manoj Narzary this morning has arrested Suja Hussain, the block development officer of the circle. There are multiple allegations of corruption lodged against him. A case has been registered against him based on a FIR that has been lodged.

As per the allegations, he has intruded with the fund that was sanctioned for various purposes under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act. Not only this, he also has allegations against him for taking money for jobs, depriving the deserving candidates off their jobs.

Katigorah Police raided his house this morning and arrested him. They said that he'll be prosecuted and actions will be taken as per the law.

However, there are further allegations that he is not alone in this corruption. The police has said that they are investigating the matter and interrogating him at the same time, and if there really are other people involved in this with him, they too shall be detained.
