In a recent incident at Silchar's Kumbhirgram airport, eleven passengers, including well-known philanthropist and BJP member Sujit Das Chowdhury, were removed from an Alliance flight bound for Kolkata. The removal stemmed from a disagreement between Sujit Das Chowdhury and the flight crew over mobile phone usage and concerns about the aircraft's condition.
