Terrifying turns in Assam has been seen in few days due to land disputes as one more case of violence had been reported in silchar on sunday.
As per sources, a man from silchar's Sonabarighat area is been killed by a land mafia today. The deceased has been identified as jassim uddin mazumder. He was killed while he was going to save his land from land mafias. Jassim's family has alleged that a young man named Mehboob Rahman attacked Jassim.
After Himanta Biswa Sharma led government in Assam started the operation against the land mafias, till now more than 500 land mafias are arrested by the Assam Police from different parts of Assam.
