A longstanding land dispute in Buribail took a violent turn when a confrontation between two factions led to one individual sustaining injuries. The incident unfolded in Pratapipara village of Buribail GP, involving Saibur Rahman Lashkar (Khokon) and his adversaries Sabir Ahmad Laskar, Mehbub Ahmad Laskar, Rustul Ahmad Laskar, and Sahid Ahmad Laskar.
The conflict escalated on Friday morning when Saibur Rahman Lashkar objected to the construction of a wall in front of his shop, initiated by the opposing party. Amjad Hossain, son of Saibur Rahman Lashkar, promptly reported the incident at the Bhangarpar outpost, leading to a police intervention.
Upon the police's arrival at the scene for an on-site investigation on Friday night, a fierce brawl broke out between the two groups. The altercation involved the use of bricks, stones, sticks, and rods, but the situation was swiftly brought under control due to police intervention.

Amjad Hussain Lashkar, who sustained critical injuries during the altercation, was promptly transported to Sonapur Hospital by the Bhangarpar Outpost Police. Amjad Hussain alleged that the opposing party, consisting of Forester Sabir Ahmad Lashkar, Forester Mehbub Ahmad Lashkar, Rustul Ahmad Lashkar, and Sahid Ahmad Lashkar, attacked him using various weapons, leading to his injuries.
The incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of peaceful conflict resolution methods and highlights the need for swift legal intervention to maintain law and order in the community. Authorities continue their investigations into the matter to ensure justice prevails in this ongoing dispute.
