Lions and Leo Club Of Silchar Care extended their hands in the District's Mega Vaccination Drive by distributing drinking water to the general public.
Leo and Lions club of Silchar Care distributed drinking water to the people standing in a queue on the first day of the District's Mega Vaccination Drive.
As on 17th of September, Cachar began their Mega Vaccination Drive with full swing, the Leo Club Of Silchar Care along with its Parent Club Lions Club of Silchar Care had organised Drinking Water Distribution. The Drinking Water Distribution project's Chairperson was Lion Rajesh Kumar Das from Lions Club Of Silchar Care.
On Friday morning, the Leo and Lions Club Of Silchar Care reached the Vaccination Centre in Shishu Mandir School (Ward.26) at 10 am along with their club members. There they distributed drinking water among 500+ beneficiaries.
They arranged for about 120 litres of water from which 80 litres of water was distributed among the beneficiaries of Shishu Mandir School's Vaccination Centre and the rest 40 litres of water was distributed to the 300+ beneficiaries of Satsang Tapaban Vidyalaya's Vaccination Centre in Tapaban Nagar, Ashram road at around 2 pm.
A great sign of social welfare was seen by the club on that day. Lions and Leo Club Of Silchar Care also promises to continue with this kind of social service in near future too as because it is in their name to care.
