Made-In-India Nasal Vaccines to change the Covid scenario
WHO's Chief Scientist says these Nasal Vaccines formed in India will change the scenario and will be easier to administer and will also give local immunity to the respiratory tract.
A new game-changer in the field of vaccines for Covid-19 has been discovered in India; Nasal Vaccines. Although, these might not be available this year as stated by WHO's chief scientist Soumya Swaminathan. This comes as a ray of hope amid the probabilities of a third wave of the virus hitting children.
She says these Nasal Vaccines formed in India will change the scenario and will be easier to administer and will also give local immunity to the respiratory tract.
The Centre on Saturday stated that children are not immune to the infection, but however, the impact is minimal and even if they acquire infection, they will be asymptomatic and not severe.
