Man dies by electric shock at Silchar's India Club

On Wednesday, a tragic incident occurred in the vicinity of India Club in Silchar, where the lifeless body of an unidentified young man was found under a transformer near the indoor stadium.

According to local accounts, it is believed that the individual came into contact with the electrical transformer and subsequently fell into a nearby drain, leading to his untimely death.

The body remained submerged for a considerable period before being recovered by Tarapur police, who then transferred it to Silchar Medical College for further examination and identification.

As of now, the identity of the deceased remains unknown, pending formal identification by authorities.
