Massive heroin bust in Guwahati: Rs 12 crore worth of drugs seized in Assam

The Special Task Force (STF) of Assam conducted a successful operation in Guwahati, seizing heroin worth Rs. 12 crore and arresting two drug peddlers.

 The STF team intercepted a vehicle in the Khanapara area based on specific inputs, leading to the discovery of a significant amount of heroin weighing around 1.5 kilograms. The arrested individuals, Jamal Ali and Salimuddin of Goroimari, are currently facing legal proceedings in connection with the drug bust.

This massive heroin seizure highlights the ongoing efforts by law enforcement agencies to combat drug trafficking in the region.
