Meet Naiwritaa Joy Shukla, the new face of Congress in Barak Valley post Sushmita Dev's resignation.

The Most Prominent face of Congress in Barak Valley resigns from her position and yes we are talking about Sushmita Dev. She was the face and one of the most influential politician of the Valley and Assam. But her sudden resignation and joining in TMC, seemed odd and shocking. A Congress member of three decades, Dev resigned from the party's primary membership on August 15. She was also known to be a close aide of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.

Following the incident, barak valley's Congress party quite possibly will lack a face that represents Congress in the valley. But not until now, as the granddaughter of former Congress MP Lalit Mohan Suklabaidya from Karimganj constituency joins the force to become the NEW FACE OF CONGRESS IN BARAK VALLEY. 

She is an entrepreneur and alumni of Ramjas College, University of Delhi. Naiwritaa did her schooling from Sanskriti School, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, and completed her graduation in the arts stream.
