Miscreants attack PNB bank's Manager in Hailakandi's Nutanbazar, 4 detained

Tunkhansiam Paite, the manager of the Nutanbazar branch of Punjab National Bank, faced a brutal assault by a group of attackers around 8 pm last Wednesday as he was returning home from work.

Paite was quickly rushed to Hailakandi's SK Roy Civil Hospital and later moved to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for critical care.

In a significant development, the police apprehended four individuals on Thursday in connection with the assault on the bank manager in Hailakandi district, Assam.

Shamir Daptari Baruah, the Additional Superintendent of Police, revealed that these detainees are currently undergoing intensive questioning.

Additionally, a police manhunt operation has been launched to capture the main suspect responsible for the incident
