The Indian Medical Association Junior Doctors Network has raised serious concerns regarding the recently announced NEET (UG) 2024 Results, citing alleged irregularities.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the NEET exam, which has come under scrutiny after anomalies surfaced in the ranking of candidates.

Of particular concern is the recording of 67 candidates achieving the top rank (AIR #1) across India. Even more striking is the revelation that six of these top-ranked candidates hail from the same examination center, in sequential order, raising suspicions of foul play.

The IMA Junior Network has voiced additional grievances, highlighting unprecedented occurrences in the scoring system.

They noted instances where aspirants allegedly scored between 718-719 marks, a feat deemed implausible under the negative marking system traditionally applied in NEET exams.

Further exacerbating the situation, the NTA's introduction of a grace marks policy post-examination has drawn ire from the IMA Junior Network.

Questions arise regarding the absence of this policy in the pre-examination information bulletin, prompting concerns over transparency and fairness in the evaluation process.

Another alarming revelation is the emergence of 67 students securing full marks (720) for the first time in NEET history.

Additionally, it was noted that 6-7 candidates achieving perfect scores hailed from the same test center in Haryana, prompting suspicion of exam paper leaks.

In response to these alleged irregularities, the IMA has demanded a re-examination of the NEET (UG) 2024 and called for a thorough inquiry into the matter.

Failure to address these concerns could lead to widespread protests across India, signaling the gravity of the situation and the urgency for accountability from the NTA
