NIT Silchar student Kishore Pran Deka commits suicide in campus
NIT Silchar's Mechanical Engineering student, Kishore Pran Deka, tragically took his own life on campus. The distressing incident occurred in a guest room where Deka was with his parents.
After locking himself in the restroom, he was later discovered hanging when the door was forcibly opened. Despite immediate efforts to save him, Deka was pronounced dead upon arrival at Silchar Medical College and Hospital, leaving the campus community in shock and grief.
