Odd Semester officially gets postponed, Assam University releases notification. Auskriti delayed?

After the massive agitation by the Students of Assam University Silchar on 20th March, Assam University Authorities have released an official notification regarding the postponement of the odd semester examination. 

The notification read , "As approved by the competent authority it is hereby notified that all UG/PG/Integrated Odd semester Examination is postponed until further order and classes should continue till 14.04.2023. Departments will maintain the attendance report for this period separately and submit a copy to the examination department. Further Departments shall publish the attendance report month wise in the notice board and a copy will be sent to the dedicated mail (to be notified later on)."

Though the University has postponed the examination, it came with a condition that the Students cannot host any University fests before the examination. The Auskriti, which is the University's biggest fest was supposed to be held in March but due to the academic purpose the fest has been pushed back.
