Overtaking results in road rage ,victim severely injured 

In a road rage incident, the driver of one car hit the other driver for allegedly overtaking his vehicle. The incident took place in Guwahati where the assailant was driving a black Mercedes car. Some eyewitnesses said that after another vehicle overtook him , the driver of the car stepped out and started to physically assault the driver of the other car .The victim was injured severely and the incident reported to the Dispur Police Station.

The instances of road rage are increasing rapidly and the reasons are many .

Two bus drivers were seen fighting with each other at Paltan Bazar point vilolently for a parking related issue.

A resident of Jyotikuchi hit a taxi driver for parking his taxi at the Jyotikuchi Tiniali.

A resident of Lal Ganesh named Kamalesh Bhagat said ,"I was driving my car and going towards Paltan Bazar when I overtook a two-wheeler which was going very slow." Adding that after a few minutes the two-wheeler rider followed him speedily and started abusing him. "The driver was very aggressive but I don't remember breaking any traffic rule or hurting him", said Bhagat.

The chaotic traffic jams and unavailability of parking system increases the aggression level of human resulting in conflicts. There is already aggression in human minds from the time of waking up till going to sleep. The stress level of each and every person is increasing as the entire city is witnessing the construction of flyovers, drainage system, installation of traffic management system etc. So people often indulge themselves in road rage activities.
