PM Modi criticizes INDIA bloc's ambitious plan for 5 Prime Ministers in 5 Years

During a rally in Karnataka, Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the opposition INDIA bloc's proposal to rotate prime ministers annually, warning of the instability it would bring to governance.

He pointed to the Congress party's plan to rotate chief ministers in Karnataka as an example of this instability. Modi also accused the Congress of attempting to extend the "Karnataka model" nationwide by including Muslims in the OBC quota, which he argued would undermine social justice.

In response, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut defended the INDIA bloc's right to choose their prime ministerial candidates, even suggesting the possibility of multiple prime ministers in a year to prevent dictatorship.

 Modi also targeted the Congress's policies on wealth distribution, criticizing Rahul Gandhi's proposal for wealth redistribution and the consideration of an inheritance tax, along with the party's historical stance on the Ayodhya Ram Temple issue. Overall, Modi portrayed the NDA as a stable alternative to what he characterized as the chaotic and divisive governance proposed by the opposition.
