Poet Ramkumar Nandi Mazumder's Bust installed in Silchar.
On the occasion of International Mother Language Day Vice-Chancellor of Assam University Prof. Tapodhir Bhattacharjee unveiled the Bust of Poet Ramkumar Nandi.
The bust was installed adjacent to Ramkumar Nandi Pathshala on Monday by the management committee of Madanmohan Akhra.
Shibabrata Dutta, the president of the Madanmohan Akhra committee while speaking to the media talked about various important moments of Ramkumar Nandi's career.
Ramkuman Nandi, wrote various literature, folk drama, poetry and music from Tarapur, Silchar. Also his great-granddaughter Shibani Bramachari unveiled an information sheet containing a brief introduction to his life and his work.
