Police arrests a teacher in Cachar for allegedly providing answers to his daughter during HS exam.

A teacher identified as Anwarul Haque of Baskandi Nena Mia HS School had been detained after questioning by the police in the morning. The teacher was arrested for providing answers to his daughter on the day of Advanced Language Examination in the sick room of the examination centre at Baskandi Nena Mia HS School.

The DC took an instant action after the video of the teacher imparting anwers to his daughter went viral on social media. The DC had suspended another teacher named Bikash Purkayastha who was allegedly involved in the case along with Anwarul Haque. An FIR was lodged against the two teachers. The police arrested Haque today whereas the other teacher has managed to escape himself from the clutches of police after questioning.
