In a heated exchange, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma labeled Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal a "chor" (thief) during a rally in New Delhi, accusing him of lacking political integrity and shifting alliances for personal gain.

Sarma criticized Kejriwal for aligning with Congress despite initially opposing them, suggesting that Kejriwal's actions were driven by self-interest rather than a consistent political philosophy.

Simultaneously, Kejriwal, while addressing a roadshow in Haryana, predicted a significant decline in BJP's performance in the upcoming elections, claiming the party is losing ground nationwide and will not win more than 230 seats.

He argued that the BJP is underperforming in multiple states, including Haryana, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra. Kejriwal's statements came shortly after receiving interim bail from the Supreme Court in a money laundering case, which he alleged was an attempt by the BJP to hinder his campaign efforts.

Kejriwal also criticized the Modi government for its handling of various issues, including the farmers' protests and the alleged mistreatment of women wrestlers. He accused the BJP of failing to fulfill its promises, such as providing financial benefits and job opportunities.

Highlighting his administration's achievements in education, healthcare, and utilities, Kejriwal urged the citizens of Haryana to initiate a revolution to unseat the BJP-led alliance. The upcoming election in Haryana will see AAP contesting the Kurukshetra seat, while Congress will contest the remaining nine seats.
