Rally for unity: Barak Valley unites to honor 19th May Shahid Divas

Borak er Awaj, a coalition of NGOs and associations, is spearheading a significant rally in Barak Valley, uniting three districts for the first time to honor the 11 martyrs of the 19th May Shahid Divas.

This historic event is poised to promote peace and unity across the region. On May 4th, individuals from diverse backgrounds came together to raise awareness about the forthcoming rally. Notable figures such as Dr. Abhijeet Nath, representatives from various community associations, and prominent personalities from Silchar lent their support, showcasing a broad-based commitment to the cause.

The gathering on May 4th saw over 100 individuals rallying behind the initiative, emphasizing the widespread support and enthusiasm for commemorating the martyrs and advocating for unity.

 As the rally approaches on May 16th, organizers are calling upon all residents of Barak Valley to join in, starting from Netaji Point and culminating at Gandhibagh. The aim is to amplify the collective voice of Barak Valley and foster a spirit of solidarity and cooperation among its people.
