Registration Process for vaccination against Coronavirus of 18-25 years of age to start from 28th April. The registration will begin on the CoWin platform and Aarogya Setu App , said officials on Thursday.
The central government had announced that the vaccination for those above 18 years will begin across the country from May 1 as part of the third phase of the inoculation drive.
Registration for vaccination against COVID-19 for all those aged above 18 will begin on the Cowin platform and Aarogya Setu app from April 28, officials said on Thursday.
The inoculation process and documents to be submitted to get the jab remains the same.
How to register for COVID-19 vaccination?
Following are the steps to register yourself for COVID-19 vaccination:
1. Go to the main homepage of the cowin.gov.in website and click on Register/ Sign in Yourself.
2. Enter your mobile number and click on get OTP.
3. You can also sign in through the Arogya Setu app and Umang app.
4. After signing in, you can select the date of vaccination, preferred time and the hospital.

Key Highlights
•The government has done certain modifications to the CoWIN platform by making changes in the age criteria and few other features to make the platform ready to meet the rising demand for vaccinations when it opens up.
•The present system of private COVID-19 vaccination centres receiving doses from the government will cease to exist. They can procure directly from the vaccine manufacturers. This also means that the charges may change from the existing Rs 250 per dose.
•The vaccine manufacturers will be making an advance declaration of the price for 50 per cent supply that would be available to state governments before May 1.
•Serum Institute has already announced that it will be selling its Covishield vaccine to private hospitals at Rs 600 per dose and state governments for Rs 400 per dose.
•However, COVID-19 vaccination will continue to be free for eligible population groups comprising healthcare workers, frontline workers and those aged above 45 years in government vaccination centres.
