Salman-Dhriti and How We Need to Keep Informing the Parents About Their Daughters Trapped in Probable Love Jihad Cases

Love Jihad. I have working on it since Class 11. I got some of the best and most active Hindu activists of those times to guide me into the way. We had a big team and everyone in the team contributed largely for the cause of securing the lives of girls, who were lured and trapped into probable Love Jihad cases. 

The elite class of our society has been ignoring the existence of Love Jihad for a long time now. Rather than discussing the issue in details, they straight away refuse to accept its existence, in order to prove themselves as the champions of secularism and communally neutral.

However, Love Jihad is a very much existing phenomenon, where girls are lured into relationships and later blackmailed for fulfilling physical desires, religious conversion and at times, for blackmailing their parents or selling them to gulf nations into terrorist camps as sex slaves.

Our method of countering Love Jihad in Silchar was based on the idea of informing the parents about their daughter's movements. We were not of the opinion or never supported assaulting girls or using violence to curb this menace. Practically, we don't have the right to interfere in the girl's life and so we would leave it to the hands of parents to decide. Whenever we found any such case, that used to give us the sense of Love Jihad, we used to collect their address and inform their parents about the situation. That was required. The Parents need to know because they can decide better. We have saved innumerable lives and families, practising such methods.

However, at today's date, we have already grown up and are cut out of school and junior college campuses. The only way to counter this menace would be the younger generations active participation in it. The school and junior college guys need to come up and provide information on the probable Love Jihad cases in their class. Only keeping the information with them won't work, but sharing the information to the parents shall make the change.
