Sanju Nahata in Central Jail after court proceedings for land scam
Sanju Nahata the owner of Nahata Tax taken to central jail after court proceedings on 24th september.
Financial specialist Sanju Nahata who was captured regarding the land scam has been sent off to the Central Jail after court procedures. Nahata, alongwith previous ward chief of Silchar Municipality Board, Ashim Das, Nishikanta Sarkar, Ashok Sarkar and Usman Goni (Nurul Haque) Barbhuiya were captured on September 21. While Police took all in remand, Nahata was admitted to SMCH as he complained of breathing hardships.
Nahata was admitted to the SMCH under thed epartment of Psychiatry. He was released earlier today as the doctors did not find any further complex medical complications. From Medical College, he was taken to the Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court. As per sources, the Police requested the court for remand of two days but the court denied. As the CJM is on leave Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate ordered to send him to jail.
From that point forward, he again complained of clinical difficulties yet the Police was not convinced. They accompanied him to the Silchar Central Jail to put him inside the cell. In the mean time, Nahata's legal counselors are now in Guwahati planning for an appeal in High Court.
