Sharbabharatiya Sylethi Forum Trust organises Pre-Holi Celebration at Narshingtola

Festive fervour begins in Silchar. The Sharbabharatiya Sylheti Forum Trust celebrated pre-holi festivities that took place on 5th of March, 2023 at 11am at the Madhya Sahar ground in Narashingtola, Silchar. The Spring Festival of 2023 was officially introduced by the members of this forum including the Vice-President and General Secretary of the All India Sylheti Forum.

The event was hosted by Deepika Chakraborty. The DDC, Mr Rajib Roy attended the ceremony and congratulated the members for organizing such a beautiful event . The programme was followed by some wonderful dance performances and melodious music by the Swarlipi musical band and the String Theory band.

The Sharbabharatiya Sylheti Forum Trust is a socio-cultural organization of more than 17,500 members belonging to different region in India. In this association, the members express their views on various topics, recite poems, compose songs and many such activities are performed in Sylheti language. This organisation works for the needy and poor people and provide assistance to them. They also organise awareness-building programme on crucial issues like road-safety, health etc.
