Silchar clinches victory against Bokakhat in Nuruddin cricket trophy senior inter district

In a Innings one sided match of the Nuruddin Trophy Senior inter district cricket tournament, Silchar secured a resounding victory against Bokakhat.

Held at the Diphu Five Mile Stadium today, Silchar conceded the first innings to Bokakhat with a score of 342 runs, losing all their wickets.

Ranji star and captain Abhishek Thakuri led an outstanding batting performance, scoring 73 runs, supported

by half-centuries from Ranji player Parvez Mosaraf (58) and Amit Yadav (50). Despite their efforts, Bokakhat fell short in their first innings, getting all out at 155 runs.

Rahul Singh and Parvez Mosaraf claimed four wickets each, compelling Bokakhat to return to bat for their second innings.

However, Bokakhat struggled to find their footing in the second innings, facing a formidable bowling lineup from Silchar.

With only 123 runs on the board, they were all out again, courtesy of Parvez Mosaraf's impressive five-wicket haul.

Mosaraf's stellar performance, claiming a total of 9 wickets in the match, proved instrumental in Shilchar's comprehensive victory over Bokakhat.
