Silchar Collegiate School teacher tested positive for Coronavirus.
"The 47th foundation day of the school is knocking at the door but for now we are thinking of postponing the programme and no more rehearsals will be done for the time being" shared Mrs. Das Gupta, Principal of Silchar Collegiate School.
Principal of SCS Mrs. Mandira Das Gupta confirmed today that one of the teachers from the Mathematics Department 'Bishwajit Chakraborty' has been tested positive for Coronavirus. While talking to Explore Valley She said, "He has not been coming to school for many days due to his severe body aching and mild fever."
"Today Bishwajit himself called me and said that he got himself tested for the virus and the result came out to positive so he has admitted himself to the Silchar Medical College and Hospital.", She added.
Mrs. Das Gupta also said that as per rules and regulations, classes will be starting from Monday.
She also said, "Mr. Chakraborty didn't come to school, yet we'll sanitize the classrooms."
