Silchar Development Authority to celebrate Bhasha Shahid Divas: Gandhi Bagh to illuminate on 19th May

The Silchar Development Authority is organizing an event to illuminate the Shahid Minar in Gandhibagh, Silchar, on the evening of May 19th.

The event aims to celebrate and honor the "Love for Bengali Language" under the auspices of the May 19th Celebration Committee.

The presence of language enthusiasts from the general public is desired at this ceremony. Additionally, on May 19th, a discussion forum will be held at the Ellora Hotel in Silchar at 11 am to commemorate Language Martyrs' Day.

Former Vice-Chancellor Tapodhir Bhattacharya, Language Warrior Abid Raja Majumdar, Vice-Chancellor Rajib Mohan Panth, Taimur Raja Choudhury, Bijoy Krishna Nath, Mohua Choudhury, and Sumitra Datta have been invited to the event.

It is anticipated that guests from Delhi, Agartala, and Bangladesh will also be present. The organizers of the May 19th Celebration Committee have expressed their desire for everyone's attendance at the event.
