 The post quickly gained traction, leading to widespread trolling of the confectionery maker online. The images depicted white fungus and a noticeable hole at the back of the chocolate bar, raising questions about the quality control measures employed by Cadbury.

The contaminated chocolate's manufacturing date was reported to be January 2024, with an expiry date set for 12 months from the manufacturing date.
