The Patriots needed 55 to win off the last six overs. Sherfane Rutherford (25 off 22) and Fabian Allen (20 off 18), brought the equation down to nine needed off the last over, which was bowled by Kesrick Williams.
St Lucia Kings scored 159/7. Chasing a target of 160 in the stipulated 20 overs, St Kitts lost Gayle and Lewis early. It was Joshua da Silva who steadied the innings along with Rutherford, adding a 45-run stand. However, both went in successive overs but the lower order led by Dominic Drake handled the situation and won them the final.
