SUCI (Communist) Cachar District Committee Observe 'Palestine Day,' Condemns Israeli Aggression

Under the banner of the Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist) [SUCI (Communist)] Cachar District Committee, a significant observance of 'Palestine Day' took place in Silchar. Responding to the call of the Central Committee of SUCI (Communist), leaders and activists of the district committee gathered at Silchar Park Road today at noon, uniting their voices against the ongoing Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip.

The participants, holding placards condemning Israel's barbaric attacks, demanded an immediate halt to the merciless aggression in Gaza. Their strong message called for an end to Israel's ruthless killings and attacks in the region. Additionally, they urged the global community to condemn the senseless violence that has affected innocent civilians, including children, women, youth, and the elderly.

During the event, speakers, including the district editor Shyamdeo Kurmi, emphasized the importance of voting against India's endorsement of the UN proposal advocating for an end to the aggression in Gaza. The speakers highlighted the dire situation in Palestine, where homes, hospitals, and essential supplies such as food, water, electricity, and medicines have been severely impacted due to the conflict.

The party's stance emphasizes the urgent need for peace and solidarity with the people's resistance against imperialist aggression. It calls for the cessation of Israel's dangerous aggression and genocide in Gaza while firmly opposing India's endorsement of the UN proposal. The event echoed the historical struggle against imperialism and emphasized the people's movement for freedom and peace.
