Reported by: Samdipto Chakravarti

On the occasion of 75th foundation anniversary of SUCI(Communist) Party, Cachar district based rally was held at Madhyashahar Cultural Sansthan, Silchar.
The party's senior district committee member Shyamdeo Kurmi presided over the meeting and the party's politburo member Kantimoy Dev was present as the keynote speaker. Party secretary and state committee member Bhavatosh Chakraborty was also present on the stage.

At the beginning of the meeting, the founder general secretary of the party, eminent Marxist philosopher Shivdas Ghosh, and the party's music group performed music on the party's foundation day, which is April 24. After a brief speech by the President of the assembly, Shyamdeo Kurmi, the main speaker said in his speech that on April 24, 1948, one of the greatest Marxist philosophers of the age, Shivdas Ghosh, founded the SUCI (Communist) Party through a revolution with a handful of comrades in Jaynagar, West Bengal.

Through the correct understanding of Marxism-Leninism, he realized that the undivided Communist Party of India was not a genuine Communist Party. He went on to explain that India was a true revolutionary despite the subsequent leadership sacrifices of the party called the CPI, unable to realize that state power had passed into the hands of the country's capitalists could not develop as a team.

As a result, mass liberation will not come if a proper communist party cannot be built on the basis of Marxism-Leninism. So he gave birth to a different kind of revolutionary party.
Kantimoy Dev said that people are now getting angry about exploiting the rule of capitalists in the country.

Governments under the influence of capitalists are using the propaganda machine to spread false propaganda of development to hide the exploitation of capitalist rule. But from the mass protests that have arisen from time to time in different parts of the country, it is understood that the people want an end to this situation. Moreover, without the teachings of Marxism-Leninism and Shivdas Ghosh, mass liberation will not come unless revolutionaries are formed. He concluded his speech by urging everyone to become revolutionaries based on the ideas of Shivdas Ghosh.
