Supreme court to set up special Lok Adalat in Silchar

The Supreme Court of India has organized a special Lok Adalat from July 29 to August 3 this year, informed Salma Sultana, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) in Cachar, during a press conference in Silchar on Friday evening.

Salma Sultana stated, "Many cases in this district have already been designated for this Lok Adalat, and we have sent notices to the concerned parties."

She urged those involved to participate and seek assistance from the DLSA if needed.

The DLSA has taken extensive measures to ensure awareness about the event, including putting up posters and banners across Cachar district.

Salma Sultana emphasized that the DLSA office is available for any information regarding the special Lok Adalat.

Expressing hope for wide participation, Salma Sultana encouraged everyone to contribute to the success of this initiative by the Supreme Court, ensuring that justice is accessible to all through this special court setup.
