TDC odd semester examination postponed until further notice: Assam University
The notice was issued by Assam University after the Cachar Deputy Commissioner has shut the educational institutions and hostels up to the University level in the district on Tuesday amid the rise of coronavirus infection in the district
Assam University on Monday issued a notice regarding the ongoing TDC Odd semester examinations. The university Postponed the remaining examination of the TDC Odd semester examinations from 5th of may to 12th of May.
The notice was issued by Assam University after the Cachar Deputy Commissioner has shut the educational institutions and hostels up to the University level in the district on Tuesday amid the rise of coronavirus infection in the district.
The notice issued by the university on Tuesday stated, "In pursuance of the directives of Deputy Commissioner cum Chairperson, District Disaster Management Authority, Cacher vide order No.DOMA39/CHR/2021/30 dated 27.04.2021 the following guidelines are notified for compliance by all concerned:
1. Offline activities of all Academic Departments of the University and affiliated Colleges of the District of Cachar shall remain closed from 28 April 2021 to 12 May 2021. Online classes shall continue as notified
2. TDC odd Semester examinations for the period 5 May 2011-12 May 2021 is postponed until further notice.
3. B.Ed practical Examinations of the District of Cachar only shall remain suspended upto 12"May 2021
4. Essential and urgent services of the University shall continue. Administrative wings of the University shall accordingly remain open from 11 AM to 3 PM upto 12" May 2021.
5. Visitors during the period upto 12 May 2021) will not be allowed in University campus.
6. All hostels will remain closed Research Scholars staying in hostels are expected to vacate the hostels as early as possible. While vacating the hostels, the boarders should take away all their belongings from hostel room and hand over the keys of the hotel room to the respective Wardens."
