The All India Rank (AIR) 1 in the UPSC civil service test has gotten by Bihar's Shubham Kumar. He hails from Katihar area of Bihar. He is an IIT-Bombay former student. Kumar has acquired a BTech degree from IIT-Bombay. He had sought after BTech in structural designing from IIT-Bombay.
He had worked in as a specialist in the USA. He relinquished his position and began planning for the UPSC Civil Services. He said that after his involvement with the USA, he found that there are many gaps in India and he needed to pursue the advancement of the country, he said in a meeting earlier.
