Three-Arrested while smuggling 1.27kG Heroin in Barak Valley. "We are currently looking out for the source." - Karimganj Police.

Three individuals were arrested on Friday while smuggling a whooping 1.27 KG heroin in Karimganj. The heroin was packed in 100 soap cases. Yesterday afternoon, a team of Karimganj police seized the vehicle near Kontakacherra which was reportedly coming from Mizoram.

Three individuals namely Kabir Ahmed, Ataf Uddin and Kadir are currently under police custody for further investigation. While talking to the media, Karimganj police said that they are currently looking out for the source of the drugs.
