Throngs of devotees gather at Udharbond's Kanchakanti Mandir to celebrate Tithi of Sukla Troyodashi of Agrahayana

The eagerly awaited annual celebration at the revered Sree Sree Kanchakanti Bari in Udharbond is poised to attract an impressive gathering of devotees from diverse corners on the 24th of December, 2023.

This sacred occasion, observed on the auspicious Tithi of Sukla Troyodashi of Agrahayana, holds significant cultural and religious importance in the Barak Valley.

The festivities commenced on the 23rd of December with the inaugural Sree Sree Saptasati Chandi Mahayagya, presided over by seven distinguished pandits within the hallowed premises of the Kanchakanti Mandir.

Accompanied by numerous religious and cultural programs, the first day of the festival witnessed an immense congregation of over 25,000 devotees who partook in the blessed Khichuri prasadam offered at the temple.

Expressing gratitude, Angshuman Dutta, the General Secretary of Sree Kanchakanti Seva Samity, thanked the devotees for their unwavering support and active participation on the inaugural day of the festival.
