TMC demands action over Vivekananda Road construction mismanagement

On August 13, the District Trinamool Congress (TMC) demanded administrative intervention regarding alleged mismanagement in the construction of drains and roads on Vivekananda Road.

A party delegation inspected the construction site and voiced concerns about significant delays and substandard work. They highlighted that active middlemen and incomplete projects have plagued the area for the past four years, resulting in severe public inconvenience and a hazardous environment.

The TMC officials criticized the ongoing construction, which they claim has deteriorated the local conditions, causing distress to residents and creating unsafe conditions for pedestrians. The party is calling for immediate administrative action to address these issues. They have warned that failure to resolve the problems promptly could lead to a large-scale public protest.
