Top administrators from Cachar and Jiribam meet to restore peace on border

The Jiribam district of Manipur has been experiencing unrest for several days, but the situation is gradually calming down.

Today, an important meeting was held at Jirighat, attended by top administrative and police officials from both Cachar and Jiribam districts.

Present at the meeting were Cachar District Commissioner Rohan Kumar Jha, Superintendent of Police Numal Mahatta, Jiribam's Additional District Commissioner Manoranjan Thokchom, Additional Superintendent of Police Thomas Thokchom, and other officials.
