Traffic police launches campaign against helmetless riding and unregistered vehicles in Silchar

In a relentless effort to combat frequent road accidents, the traffic police have initiated an unyielding campaign against riders without helmets and vehicles lacking proper documentation.

On Wednesday, the Silchar Traffic Police Division carried out penalties against helmetless riders and drivers without vehicle registration documents in front of Silchar Women's College.

Traffic police officers clarified that the campaign against helmetless riding and unregistered vehicles would continue, and on the current day alone, fines were imposed on over fifty individuals who failed to produce proper documentation and wore no helmets while riding.
