Tripura Woman Commits Suicide After Poisoning 2 Children

A 35-year-old woman poisoned her two children at her home in Gopalnagar village of Tripura's Khoai district on Thursday. The incident took place when victim Pramila Munda's husband Manu went to the neighboring village for his daily work.

The woman committed suicide after feeding some liquid poison to her sons Parimal (10) and Manish (12). The exact reason behind the incident is still unclear. The husband, still in shock, expressed confusion as to the reason for his wife's drastic action. The body has been sent for post-mortem as the police continue to investigate the incident.
