"Why Cristiano Ronaldo HATES coca-cola !?"
Cristiano Ronaldo at EURO Press conference

On a normal day when Cr7 was in a press conference before the match of Portugal National team at the Euro... He casually put aside 2 bottles of Coca-cola from the table & by that action gave a statement "That is real water!" by holding another bottle of water in his hand... After that things were not quite cool for the Soft Drink giant.

Statistics:-
"Thanks to CR, the stocks went DOWN"

Funny to know that with just one movement of hand the company had a loss of approx $4billion, according to some reports at the opening of the stock market in Europe Coca-cola had a stock market share of $56.1 but after this, it went down $55.2 drastically & that's not the only thing, media all around the world started posting several things regarding this incident & this also contributed in a big loss for Coca-cola, both the image & financial position on the company were affected on the same day.

Outcome:-
"A healthy lifestyle is what we should appreciate..."

People all around the world started appreciating Ronaldo for his actions, taking it as a health-conscious move. It's surely true that Ronaldo has fabulous physic and even at the age of 36 gives a tremendous performance, but lesser did Ronaldo knew that his simple actions will alter the world & market that much. Coca-cola being a sponsor of the game itself couldn't tolerate much of the hype so they also put out a statement- "drinking water, coca-cola & diet coke all are offered to the players, they can surely have their own preferences." But this didn't heal much because the damage was already caused. It seemed he actually created a trend as another player did the same move by removing a beer bottle from the table & it seems like everyone wants to convey a healthy message in public for real.

Conclusion:-
"Does the *HYPE really worth it?"

Intentionally or Unintentionally a big controversy was on the go, some were appreciating it whereas some neglected it calling it "HYPOCRITICAL" since CR himself promoted coca-cola in the 2006 world cup for the Asian market, he also promoted other soft drinks but it was way back when CR was young & new in this game, as the days pass people preferences can change & just following slight actions of some big celebs & making it a controversial topic is quite insignificant for the present era at least. As CR7 himself said "I'm more mature now, footballers should know how to adapt" and we believe so do the people should listen to their idols & concentrate more on the good aspects.
