Wife brutally attacks husband at Silchar’s Ashram Road

In a shocking incident on Satsang Ashram Road, Silchar, Mousumi Das attacked her husband, Bittu Das, with a sharp weapon. Bittu, a goldsmith from Lala Bazar, Hailakandi, lived in a rented house on Green Lane with his wife and child.

On Monday morning, the landlord heard loud noises and found the door locked from inside. When they forced the door open, they discovered Bittu lying in a pool of blood with a sharp weapon nearby.

The landlord immediately restrained Mousumi Das and rushed the injured Bittu to Silchar Medical College for treatment.

The police arrived promptly, detained Mousumi, and are investigating the motive behind the attack. The cause of this violent act remains under investigation
