Woman attempts suicide by jumping into Barak river from Silchar Sadarghat Bridge

A young woman was seen attempting suicide by jumping from the Silchar Sadarghat Bridge into the Barak River.

Eyewitnesses at the scene were startled to witness the young woman taking a leap from the Silchar Sadarghat Bridge into the Barak River. Promptly, they jumped into the river to rescue her and brought her ashore.

Local authorities, upon receiving the information, immediately took the young woman to Silchar Medical College for medical attention with the assistance of the local community. Although the girl is said to be from Malugram in Silchar, her complete identity remains unknown at this time.
