Young man's body found hanging at SMCH's under construction building, probe on

The dead body of a young man was discovered in an under-construction building at Silchar Medical College. Ghungur Police retrieved the hanging body on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Basinda Basudev Sarkar (29) from West Bengal.

Sources indicate that Basinda Basudev Sarkar was employed as a laborer at the construction site of Silchar Medical College. The police have recovered the body and sent it to the SMCH for post-mortem examination to ascertain the cause of death.
