Zomato Delivery boy allegedly hit a woman

Hitesha Chandranee, an Instagram influencer with over 35,000 followers, took to her social media handle to show her bloody nose and alleged that the Zomato delivery man assaulted her over a delay in the order. The Bengaluru woman has suffered a nasal bone fracture.

In her first clip, Chandranee can be seen crying and saying that she was trying to resolve the issue of delay in the order with a Zomato executive on call, which is when the delivery boy hit her, left her bleeding and ran off. In the following clip, Chandranee who is seen with a bandaged nose says that she placed the order around 3:30 pm and the food was scheduled to be delivered at 4:30 pm. She said she was constantly in touch with the Zomato executives to figure out if they would give her the food for free or if they would cancel the order.

She stated that she tried to resolve the matter but the delivery guy started screaming at her, saying ‘Am I a slave or what? You are asking me to wait here.’ It was really threatening for her and she tried to shut the door but he pushed the door, took back the order from the table by entering into the house and then punched her on her face and ran away,” she stated.
